2009-07-09:

Map Changes

• Faster map item clustering algorithm
• Simpler/more intuitive map item clustering display
• Server and client side caching to improve map refresh response time
• Data compression to improve map item load time
• Streamlined map objects to improve map responsiveness
• Increased the maximum number of items displayed on a map at once to 1000 (to take advantage of improved performance)
• Added a border to image thumbnails on the map to improve visibility

RSS/Parser Changes

• Fixed RSS news parser bug where new articles didn't receive the correct icon color
• Fixed an issue where HTML was appearing in reverse RSS feed descriptions
